Hours: Part Time

Placed On: 4th September 2024

Do you have a passion for communications and content creation, and experience of running engaging events?

This is a chance to have a real impact on the lives of our students to help make sure they get the support they need to thrive at the University of Bath. We are seeking a Communications and Events Officer to join the Student Support Team to help communicate our services, activities and interventions to support student wellbeing.

What you will do:

  • Create campaigns, content and communications to help students engage with our services and build their own wellbeing.
  • Oversee our web presence, updating web content ensuring our pages are accurate and clear.
  • Use our digital and social media channels to share content to encourage student wellbeing and to share key messages.
  • Organise engaging events as part of our wellbeing activities programme.
  • Lead on the planning of our wellbeing weeks, events, and workshops to help build student wellbeing.
  • Work closely with our wider services and colleagues to help promote the amazing work and support they offer, so students know where to seek help if they need it.

Your impact won’t end there. Supporting the wider team, you will welcome new students to the university to help them feel like they belong in Bath.

This is a creative and varied role where no two days will be the same. You could be updating service webpages before heading off to attend a student dog walk to capture content. Or you might help develop a communications plan around our anti-harassment campaign before planning our next wellbeing week.
