We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic HR administrator to join us as a Recruitment Co-ordinator as soon as possible on a full time, fixed-term basis for 12 months.

The recruitment team focus on attracting the best talent for the University, ensuring a positive candidate experience and a sound selection process.

We are looking for someone who has strong HR administrative experience, who loves to provide the best customer service to our hiring managers and candidates.  You should also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst maintain a high level of accuracy. The team works with our Schools and Support services to offer our know how in sourcing, selection and candidate management.

This is an exciting time to join us as we enter the final phase in our journey to implement a new HR system.

Our Human Resources Directorate is the University’s people team. They manage everything from recruitment, onboarding and induction, people policies, right through to development, wellbeing, reward and benefits, and change management. They lead on shaping the overall colleague experience – ensuring an inclusive workplace with a sense of belonging, where colleagues are valued and supported to be their best.

The role:

You will

  • Take responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring that candidates and recruiting managers receive a first-rate service at all times.
  • Support our commitment to EDI throughout our processes.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, supporting and guiding them throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support candidates through the process and be responsive to their requests
  • Manage your own portfolio ensuring all records are accurately maintained and comply with GDPR rules

Team working is critical to the way our recruitment team operates. It is a fast-paced environment, but you will join a team of who work closely together and value and respect each other’s input and expertise.

You will have a strong customer focus and the ability to support and guide hiring managers. You will have previous experience in a customer focused environment with solid administrative and IT skills. The ability to juggle priorities and work to deadlines with attention to detail is also critical.
