Catholic Multi-Academy Trusts (CMATs) are a developing feature of the educational landscape of Church schools. Their emergence requires research and evaluation, not least in terms of their distinctive character and the role of school leaders in shaping it. This post, funded by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, aims to research the role of school leaders, the particular challenges of leadership and the professional development needs of CMAT CEOs.
Your role will be to engage in fieldwork, data analysis and related work leading to publications on the role and experiences of Catholic Multi-Academy Trust CEOs
You will have sufficient background and experience in schools and/or research to give credibility to your interactions with senior leaders in schools.
