Senior Lecturer in Law

The School is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Law to contribute their expertise to the growing teaching and research and legal professional practice environment of the law programmes. We are particularly keen to attract candidates with demonstrable expertise in one or more of the following:

o Legal Professional Practice and Practical Legal Research Skills (postgraduate and undergraduate)
o Clinical Legal Education
o Property Law and Practice (postgraduate and undergraduate)
o Equity and Trusts Law (postgraduate and undergraduate)

Candidates would be expected to develop and deliver innovative teaching on the School’s law programmes at postgraduate, undergraduate and foundation level.

Candidates should possess substantial experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and be able to demonstrate excellence and innovation in learning, teaching and assessment which is student focussed and designed to provide a high quality student experience.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and aptitude for the enhancement of student learning at both undergraduate and foundation level, including the development of employability skills for future legal professionals.
