The Department of Nursing, situated in the School of Human and Health Sciences, is seeking to recruit a number of Skill Educators to contribute to our skills, simulation, and practice education support across our pre-registration nursing programmes, within a range of full-time, part-time (minimum 0.4 FTE) and secondment opportunities. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with adult and mental health nursing expertise. The Department is soon to be situated within a new, state of the art building, with increased and enhanced skill laboratory resources, so this really is an exciting time to be joining our team.
As a Skills Educator, you will contribute to a range of student nursing skills education, supporting our students in practice, and conduct a range of assessments.
NMC registration is essential for this post, and relevant clinical experience in the field of nursing, as is experience of supporting students.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Regular status checks may also be required, depending on your role.
