A minimum of 70 hours will be offered between September 2024 and July 2025 with a variable guarantee renewed annually.
The Opportunity:
Animation, within the Design department at Edinburgh College of Art is looking for a GH tutor experienced in the teaching of animation theory/history to fill a tutoring position across one large elective course at undergraduate level. The successful candidate will assist with teaching, assessment and feedback from the start of the 2024 academic year. The course runs in semester one and the tutor will run several seminars facilitating discussions and marking written assessments. The course has specified learning outcomes and sit within the undergraduate BA (Hons) Animation programme as well as being open to the wider University as an elective. The tutor will work across year groups, supporting the learning across an established programme within the School of Design at Edinburgh College of Art.
