Decision Theatre Manager

We are seeking to appoint a Decision Theatre Manager for Lancaster University’s new Decision Theatre. We require a person with good technical background in video production and a knowledge of AV.

The Decision Theatre is a new and unique space on our Bailrigg campus. The room is semi-immersive space, comprising of 48 55inch LED screens.

You will work in the Learning Spaces Technology Support, Digital Media, and the wider technical events delivery service team. However, the role will require you to partner and network with academics, researchers and professional services teams throughout the university and external parties who would like to use the Decision Theatre.

Learning Technology and Events is at the heart of delivery of great experiences for students, staff and wider participants in university. We are focused on developing new ways of delivering the best experience possible for all our students and staff, in a dynamic and rapidly changing technology area. What you will need

You must have strong experience in at least one of: events technology, events technology solution requirements gathering and delivery; or the technical specification, operational management, delivery of learning spaces within an education environment. It is desirable you have experience in both areas and a good understanding of future developments in these areas. It is also desirable you have a good background understanding of IT and networking.
