At Christ Church we care about sport, health, fitness and general wellbeing. We have invested in multi-million-pound facilities, including our University Sport Centre with a double sports hall, state of the art spin studio, gym and fitness facilities. Our newly refurbished gym is packed with modern fitness equipment, and we offer a wide range of fitness classes, personal training and an exercise referral service. We also deliver amazing programmes and interventions for physical activity and wellbeing, including an innovative mobile app that tracks steps and rewards with prizes!
In addition, we run academic sessions, sports team training sessions and fixtures at polo farm sports centre and the University’s sports centre as well as at Stodmarsh playing fields. All of which require our staff to cover and assist.
The Sport & Active Health Business Operations Manager will have responsibility for the running of the operational and facilities aspects of the department and supporting the Delivery team with event delivery.

We are looking for experienced Sports Centre Facilities Managers with knowledge of business systems and a passion for sports, fitness and wellbeing to join our vibrant, friendly and knowledgeable team, encouraging them to thrive and promote creativity and a sense of belonging as we provide a huge range of active health opportunities to students, staff and external members.
How will you work?
This role is predominantly based in the Sports Centre with occasional visits to Polo Farm and Stodmarsh.
