Background of department/role

The Clinical Academic will split their time between clinical practice and academic duties, contributing to patient care, medical education, and research. This role is vital in advancing clinical knowledge, improving patient outcomes, and fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals with a strong focus on practice learning through simulation in the school of nursing.

The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high quality practice learning through simulation and provide support and guidance in the role of Practice Assessor.

You will be a qualified healthcare professional with knowledge and experience in clinical practice you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the application of theory to practice.

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible. However, this role is one day a week, and you will be expected to work on the Medway or Canterbury Campus.
