The Associate Director of Campus Services will lead and champion the development and delivery of consistent, high levels of Customer Service across all UK sites and will set the strategic direction for the Campus Services Team in line with University strategy and Estates and Facilities Directorate plans. We are looking for an experienced professional to initiate and manage change where necessary and plan and organise activities within the team in the immediate and long term to support University Faculties and departments with their objectives.

You will be required to actively engage with stakeholders and the wider University community to raise the profile of the Estates and Facilities Department, identifying opportunities for improvement sharing best practice with peers and building effective working relationships with other university Departments. You will also provide expert advice at internal and external meetings, influencing and facilitating different opinions to reach a consensus, negotiating terms and pushing forwards new developments and change as required.

Candidates should hold a professional qualification/relevant degree plus have substantial relevant managerial experience or have extensive work experience in a similar role. Experience of strategy and policy development and implementation including analytical and policy/report writing skills are also essential for this role.

This post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time,36.25 hours per week. Job share arrangements may be considered. Hybrid working will be considered with 3 days per week minimum on campus.
