About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join an Orthopaedic Research UK funded study to develop an open-source finite element model of the ankle. This can be used to inform clinical treatment and facilitate research to better understand ankle biomechanics and injury mechanisms. You will be required to work within a team, including working with orthopaedic surgeons and biomechanics researchers in the UK.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in engineering including experience performing experimental research, exemplary organisational skills, as well as knowledge and enthusiasm for biomechanics research.
You should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
