The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, diagnostic radiography, clinical psychology and public health. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice, Independent prescribing and Global Healthcare Management.

The Role  

We are currently seeking to recruit into the role of Curriculum Lead for Post Qualifying Education.  The post will be responsible for leading the academic development and expansion of post qualifying education within the School of Health and Care, in response to demand from the University’s UK and international partners. The role will include oversight of the commercial contracts for CPD and post-graduate education, working with the business development and apprenticeship teams to secure new income and increase student numbers.  

Our Ideal Candidate 

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who will join the School senior team to drive the School’s vision and ambitions for the post-qualifying curriculum area to deliver high-quality courses, promote an excellent student experience and deliver the KPI’s as set out by the University’s Corporate Strategy. The role-holder will have responsibility for working with fellow Curriculum Leads and course teams to ensure performance and growth targets are achieved within the post qualifying portfolio. In working with a range of stakeholders, the role-holder will also play an active role in enhancing the scholarly culture and deepening our engagement with professional practice, international partners, accreditation bodies and relevant connected organisations.

Ideally applicants will be registered with either the NMC or HCPC
