About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact Roland Ingram (Agile Lead/Coach) at R.Ingram.2@warwick.ac.uk.
The Scrum Master serves as a crucial bridge between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders in the University. Their primary purpose is to facilitate agile practices, promote collaboration, and ensure the team adheres to an Agile framework. By removing impediments, fostering continuous improvement, and championing the Scrum values of transparency, inspection and adaptation, the Scrum Master enables efficient delivery of high-quality products.
The Scrum Master is part of a team of Delivery Managers and helps to develop and promote Agile practice across the Information and Digital Group and wider University. They work together with other roles in Portfolio Delivery, including Product Managers, Business Analysts and Business Change managers, helping to embed those skillsets into the Agile process to maximise value for stakeholders across the University.
You are an experienced Agile Coach / Scrum Master, confident to act as servant leader to new or mature Agile teams. You are passionate about driving continuous improvement within your teams and beyond.
You will be accustomed to managing colleagues from different teams, including technical experts, in a matrix arrangement. You will be equally comfortable managing upwards to remove impediments, communicate progress and set expectations.
You will be an enthusiastic Agile advocate with a track record of winning over new practitioners and collaborating with other experienced coaches.
