We are recruiting an enthusiastic postdoctoral scientist to work with Dr Matteo Allegretti to investigate the structural and functional basis of macromolecules working into the nucleus of human cells. The aim is to use and develop cutting edge in vivo electron cryo microscopy methods and computational methods to study the structure of macromolecules at high resolution.
The ideal applicants must have a PhD (or due to complete within 6 months) in life science, material science or computer science and demonstrate the ability to have worked independently and in a team, to have a track record of success, and to be committed and interested in interdisciplinary, collaborative work. This is a three-year training and development position suitable for you if you have recently completed your doctoral studies, or you are looking to move into a new research discipline and/or need to further develop your research skills.
