An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Administration Manager to join the Project Team of the Wellcome Trust funded Institutional Award “Inclusion Diversity and Equality of Access (IDEA)” Project.
This project will be based within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences but will involve working across the University. You will work with the FMH Associate Dean for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion to effect a culture change by evidencing the positive impact of equality, diversity, and inclusion awareness, training and research process initiatives.
This will be a varied role but key duties include monitoring project governance and compliance, drafting reports, assisting in the preparation and dissemination of data and supervising administrative support staff.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial experience in a similar role. Is it essential that you have demonstrable research project management skills, and be able to write and prepare reports. Furthermore you should have supervisory/line management experience and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and experience of being responsible for budgets and monitoring finances. You will have the diplomacy and ability to work with colleagues at varying levels. You will provide strong effective administrative leadership, be forward thinking and passionate about change. Experience in a similar (eg research administration in a higher education setting) area would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis for two years.
