Norwich CTU is a UKCRC Registered Clinical Trials Unit, based at the University of East Anglia in the East of England. We support a large number of Clinical Research Projects across a broad range of clinical disciplines and interventions including multicentre randomised drug, device and complex intervention trials. To support this work, we employ a large number of clinical trial managers and coordinators, data programmers, statisticians, health economists, epidemiologists and research methodologists.
As a Unit, we have a very diverse and expanding research portfolio. We currently undertake research in the fields of cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, diabetes, neurology, oncology, smoking cessation, CFS, dementia, musculoskeletal, mental health and care and health service improvement.
We have a vacancy for a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our team to support the set up and delivery of the trial that is part of an NIHR funded Programme Grant. The Identification of Medication Adherence Barriers Questionnaire intervention (IMAB-Qi) programme of work will develop and test a package to support IMAB-Qi delivery in general practice. The person in this role would be supporting in the set up and delivery of the feasibility and main trials following the package development.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of conducting clinical research, experience of clinical trial administration/management, excellent communication and team working and a keen eye for details, to join an established CTU.
A degree of remote working is possible.
You will have a degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials and evidence of ability to set up and maintain effective administrative systems in trials.
The post is available from 1 October 2024 on a full-time basis for a fixed term period for two years.
