Background
The Manchester MB ChB programme delivers a successful and innovative undergraduate medical programme to over 2200 students. The programme uses a blended teaching and learning approach based on adult learning principles emphasising experiential learning, subject integration and reflective practice at its core. In the earlier years of the programme, delivery focuses on small group problem-based learning, reinforced with early clinical experience; later years are immersed in learning through clinical placements in the NHS. Year 4 of the programme comprises a series of clinical placements and structured learning opportunities that broaden knowledge and skills through the medical specialties. The associate leads for assessment are key roles supporting the development and delivery of assessments within the programme.
As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status. All appointments are made on merit.
