About the Role
This interesting and diverse role is to provide high-level and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Vice-Principal (International), ensuring they are always fully briefed and prepared, and ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective running of their agenda, diary, budgets, recruitment and meetings. It will include playing a key role in organising itineraries for travel abroad by the VP International, and supporting inward visits by international delegations and visitors to Queen Mary. As well as the traditional responsibilities of an EA role, the post holder will work collaboratively with other team members within the Office of the Principal to ensure that the wider office operates effectively and efficiently.
About You
The successful candidate should have a degree or equivalent relevant experience supporting c-suite executives. They should be able to work independently and proactively on non-routine matters and exercise judgement in all aspects of work. They will also have experience organising complex itineraries for travel in the UK and internationally. This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working collaboratively with a team, and the ability to communicate clearly with tact and diplomacy.
