The opportunity:
We are seeking an individual with passion and talent for public engagement and involvement in research to join our world-leading institute. The mission of the Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) is to turn genetic and genomic data into knowledge, providing the biological framework and mechanistic insights needed to form the foundations of future medical advances, with a focus on genetic disease and cancer. The IGC brings together scientists and clinicians from fields as diverse as mathematics, computer sciences, bioinformatics, chemistry, biology and medicine. The postholder will inspire, influence and support our staff and students, and internal and external stakeholders, in meaningful engagement and involvement with our research.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
