The Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a dynamic and motivated Communications and Engagement professional to work across a number of projects and programmes to ensure maximum impact of, and engagement with, key research.
The Opportunity:
Working within the Usher Institute Communications, Marketing and Engagement Team, the post-holder will lead on communications and engagement initially for a single exciting research project - with the potential for increasing hours in the longer term to work across additional projects/programmes.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with academic teams leading cutting edge research into health and social care and would suit someone with a proven ability to translate scientific materials into clear, concise formats for a range of audiences, included non-academics.
The work is varied and dynamic and would suit a strong team-player.
Flexible working will be considered.
Informal enquiries may be directed to Susan Buckingham, Head of Communications, Marketing and Engagement (susan.buckingham@ed.ac.uk)
