Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within Oxford Population Health, and is one of the world’s leading centres for randomised trials addressing major causes of death and disability including heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes and cancer.
We are seeking a Data Manager who will have oversight of the data management process for all aspects of the clinical trials, and work closely with trial managers, business analysts, software developers and testers, statistical programmers and statisticians to ensure the validity of the data. The successful applicant will be a key role in all of our trials and helps ensure that data integrity and data quality are of the highest standard.
To be considered for this role you will hold a University degree in a subject with a substantial component of quantitative analysis or computer science. You will have proven experience in data management and expertise in the design, use and maintenance of clinical databases. You will also have experience and knowledge of SQL with proven accuracy and numeracy skills.
The post is full time (although part time will be considered) and fixed term for 3 years.
