This is an exciting new role within the Registry Support, Student Records and Timetabling team which will co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the team relating to franchise course students. 

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Registry Support, Student Records and Timetabling team to provide an efficient, effective, accurate and responsive service to staff, students, franchise partners, and external parties accessing the team services. 

The team supports a range of registry related activities at the university including enrolment, module registration, change of circumstances, disclosure (DBS) application processing, ad hoc roombookings and academic course timetabling. 

The role includes supporting the development and maintenance of the university academic timetable, taking responsibility for creating the timetables for a suite of subject areas/course programmes, which are well designed and deliver an excellent student experience and optimise the use of available teaching space. 

You will need to have outstanding organisational skills and be comfortable in building relationships quickly and easily with people from a wide range of backgrounds.  You must either be educated to a degree level or have relevant Higher Education sector work experience. Also, sufficient work experience in an administrative and/or customer care environment, and ideally supervising a small team. A solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and web-based database systems is required.  Also, previous experience of using a roombooking and/or timetabling software system would be desirable.
