Are you interested in working in a top-ranked Geography and Planning School, undertaking ground-breaking research and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Geography, Environmental Science and Planning?
We invite applications from ambitious, highly motivated, and talented individuals across the social sciences for the position of Research Associate to work alongside Professor Stephen Hincks and his team of collaborators. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct outstanding research in quantitative analysis and GIS, working at the intersection of planning, urban-regional studies, and geography. Their contributions will support ongoing projects in housing systems and inequalities, urban development and the circular economy, and urban connectivity and green infrastructure among other areas, alongside advancing their own research agenda.
The School of Geography and Planning is a globally recognised centre of excellence for education, research, and knowledge exchange in Geography, Environmental Science and Planning. You would be working alongside colleagues with a diversity of research interests and specialisms, who share an overarching mission to address concerns around social justice, environmental change, and urban sustainability.
