The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a post-doctoral researcher to join our team conducting world-leading research into brain health, from diseases of ageing to neonatal brain development.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We have an exciting opportunity for a post-doctoral researcher to join our team conducting world-leading research into brain health, from diseases of ageing to neonatal brain development. Working with senior medical physicists and principal investigators, the postholder will support acquisition and analysis of quantitative MR, for example cerebrovascular reactivity, MR spectroscopy, DCE-MRI and QSM, and provide general scientific support to the Edinburgh Imaging facility. The postholder will contribute to research projects within the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, and will be supported to develop their own research and/or professional portfolios. They will have strong quantitative skills and a good understanding of magnetic resonance physics. The post provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in advanced clinical imaging and its applications in brain research.
