The Business School at Queen Margaret University has a real focus on the student experience and developing opportunities for applied and authentic learning. Small year groups mean we get to know our students and can work collaboratively with them to develop and enhance our programmes. We are now looking for an Assistant Lecturer in Digital Marketing to support the delivery of selected undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver excellent teaching in the field of marketing management. You may have some previous experience of teaching in a further or higher education context but most importantly you will be a committed educator, supervisor, and outstanding communicator.

The role would suit current doctoral candidates, those who have recently completed their doctorate, or those with significant professional experience who are interested in pursuing a teaching career.

The role will require you to contribute to a range of teaching, pastoral, and administrative activities across the division. You will be passionate about the student experience and will be committed to a teaching approach that integrates theory and practice. With the relevant knowledge and experience to teach marketing management, your areas of specialist expertise (evidenced through a postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience) will include:

  • Digital Marketing
  • International Marketing
  • Advertising and Marketing Communication
  • Experiential Marketing and Consumer Behaviour
  • Marketing Innovation
  • Campaign Management
  • Global Branding
