This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor within the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, providing a high quality, exceptional and transformative educational experience to students in an innovative and high-tech learning environment. You will be a driving force in delivering and growing our portfolio of programmes in the field of Nutrition. In addition, where relevant, there are opportunities to contribute to programmes across the Division, School and wider University.
The School, with its breadth of professional programmes, delivers Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such the School is in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning and teaching and research.
To apply for this role, you must be registered with the Registered with the AfN as RNutr.
You must have a first degree in either Nutrition or Dietetics and a postgraduate degree relevant to the area of Nutrition. We are specifically looking for someone with experience of working as a nutritionist and experience of undertaking student assessment and facilitating learning and teaching in nutrition healthcare practice or a Higher Education context. A proficiency in data handling and statistical methods will be an advantage.
