An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tutor to join the newly formed School of Media, Language and Communication Studies to deliver lectures and seminars, carry out teaching-related duties and to supervise undergraduate dissertations.
You will teach on undergraduate modules for Spanish, planning and preparing for the academic cycle, organising and developing teaching and learning materials. You will take responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific models and administrative duties required to sustain the delivery of high quality teaching.
A graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a similar role along with breadth and depth of knowledge in a relevant subject area is essential. Teaching experience at undergraduate level is also essential as is experience in student assessment including coursework, examinations and undergraduate dissertations. Experience of course construction and planning and teaching at postgraduate level would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available from 2 September 2024 on a fixed term basis for 11 months.
