The School of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Roehampton is a relatively new provider of healthcare education including nursing and allied health programmes, but has quickly established a reputation for quality and innovation that helps students become successful individuals with rewarding careers, regardless of their background and circumstances. The School is committed to delivering outstanding student outcomes and making a positive impact on society. We offer a variety of programmes and have one of the fastest growing healthcare education portfolios in the UK. Our facilities include state-of-the-art clinical simulation facilities and a world-class library.
Within the School, our portfolio of healthcare programmes includes Adult, Mental Health, and Children’s Nursing, Nursing Associate, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Sports Therapy. We are very proud of our consecutive NSS results. In 2023 we achieved 96% and 93% positivity scores in Mental Health and Adult Nursing respectively, and in 2024, our recent graduates have placed us 1 st for Adult Nursing and 2nd for Mental Health Nursing in the UK for Assessment and Feedback and Academic Support, and 1st in London for 4/7 of the survey subsections for Adult Nursing. Our student experience is important to us, and we thrive on making a difference to society through our inspirational practice and academic endeavour.
