This appointment plays a crucial role in overseeing operations of the further education department, Pertaining specifically to our Maths & English provision. Inclusive of; direction and development of the department, ensuring delivery of exceptional educational experiences, embedding of wider themes as well as the line management of English & Maths course leaders.
Fostering a supportive learning environment, leading by example, driving continuous improvement whilst also having a teaching commitment in Maths, English or a mixture of the two.

This role will also include education inspection framework strategy; Each Further education management role will have a strategic focus pertaining to the education inspection framework. The role will be responsible for strategy, driving change, representing CICT as well as wider CMG in relation to this focus. Broken down into the following areas of focus;
Demonstrate a commitment to the Confetti Institute of Creative Technology (CICT) 'do it for real' ethos and strategy and ensure that is considered in the development and delivery of the curriculum area, ensuring quality at all times. Responsible for the engagement, retention, achievement and success of students across FE, the curriculum area and the courses managed.
