- THE ROLE -
The post holder will deliver practical research and subsequent analysis of an integrated vapour compression heat pump and thermal storage system (involving phase change materials) for domestic space heating and hot water applications.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for the same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
- ABOUT YOU -
The post holder must have:
- Degree in an engineering or applied sciences discipline or related subject.
- Completion of a PhD (or near completion, i.e., thesis submitted) in heat pumps.
- Postgraduate research experience, including experience of having developed and undertaken an extensive programme of research, involving renewable energy systems and experience in heat pump development.
