Description of Post
The post relates primarily to the teaching on the MSc and BSc in Clinical Measurement Physiology programmes within the School of Science. This will also include specialist discipline modules in either Respiratory Physiology, Neurophysiology or Gastrointestinal Physiology
The successful candidate will be required to undertake lecturing and associated duties (on-site and online) pertaining to a range of modules up to and including Level 9 within the School/Faculty, with special emphasis on Clinical Measurement Physiology including Respiratory Physiology, Neurophysiology and Gastrointestinal Physiology, Clinical Measurement, Physiology and Anatomy, Pathology, Medical Instrumentation, Exercise Physiology, and Health Sciences.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must, as a minimum, hold an BSc (hons) at 2.2 or better in Clinical Measurement science/physiology or equivalent as per the requirements of the professional body and an MSc or equivalent recognised professional qualifications.
Applicants must have a minimum of three years post-qualification clinical experience in either Respiratory Physiology, Neurophysiology or Gastrointestinal Physiology, and have a working knowledge of Clinical Measurement physiology/Clinical Physiology, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of a clinical-facing post, which would include demonstrable work/training undertaken in a relevant clinical setting.
