This is an exciting time for health care education in our GOLD TEF University which reflects our outstanding teaching and student experience.  We are growing our provision and have significant investment in resources alongside a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. As a result, the university is looking to appoint a full time Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy or two part time Senior Lecturers, with experience and interest of Cardio/Pulmonary Physiotherapy, to join our dynamic academic team at our Chichester Campus.   There is the potential to undertake academic development with a Teaching qualification, a Masters or PhD level, as part of this role.

Your responsibilities will include leading in teaching and module co-ordinating for a contemporary Physiotherapy curriculum. You will enhance the student experience across our provision; providing students with a high-quality, research informed educational experience leading to an understanding of healthcare practice and the achievement of both academic and professional qualifications. This will involve teaching and learning activity, student recruitment, clinical placement support, assessment and research. There are opportunities to embrace interprofessional research and scholarly activity in the school and support collaborations with clinical colleagues to develop and prepare appropriate clinical placements including educational audit and clinical liaison.

About you

About the team

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
