About the role

Under the guidance of the Campaigns Manager, you will provide support for new and ongoing developments and enhancements, to effectively implement marketing activities in support of the Faculty’s student recruitment and research reputation objectives. 

You will support in gathering market intelligence, undertake research and work with the Faculty Marketing & Web Team to analyse results and to plan/coordinate activities.  

To ensure our marketing campaigns and online presence are up-to-date and reflect the changing face of the Faculty/University, it will be essential for you to develop and maintain an effective relationship with staff across all academic departments within the Faculty, as well as the University’s central teams, including Digital Marketing & Communications, Corporate Communications and Development and Alumni Relations.

This position is offered on a part time basis, for 29.2 hours per week.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes, and experience:

  • Marketing experience: Demonstrable responsibility in a range of supportive marketing activities; experience in digital marketing including email campaigns, social media and web content creation.
  • Technical skills: Be proficient in standard IT packages (such as Microsoft Office) and online tools (such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite); the ability to create, schedule and evaluate digital content and campaigns
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical staff, students and the public
  • Organisational skills: Evidence of effective teamwork; the ability to work on your initiative, largely unsupervised
  • Adaptability: A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to learn new skills quickly; conscientious and motivated with a methodical approach

You should demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent service, finding innovative solutions, and engaging with the broader objectives of the Faculty and University. Additionally, you will be capable of managing yourself and your skills, embracing change, using resources effectively, developing yourself and others, working well with people, and achieving consistent results.
