The University is undertaking an exciting programme of work to implement our new Student Record System, SITS. The scope of the programme is focussed on providing a modern and flexible student record system with a key emphasis on rationalising and standardising student-related processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for process improvement and business change to work with a progressive and collaborative team on a large change project.
As a Business Process Analyst, you will work across many different strands of work (e.g. Admissions, Finance, Students, Assessment) but we will try to primarily align you to a strand which suits your experience and skills.
Key responsibilities will include facilitating workshops and discussions with people across the University to understand existing practice, learning about the functionality of our new Student Record System, collaborating with people to design new processes that align with our project principles, as well as helping to test the system and prepare for training.
This will be a varied role at the heart of one of the University’s most exciting projects and will suit someone with a blend of process improvement and analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with others. This is not a technical role and we will support you to learn and understand SITS.
Please refer to the job description which details the key accountabilities and requirements for this role.
Please demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.
For an informal discussion to find out more about the role then please contact Chris Denner by email at chris.denner@plymouth.ac.uk.
Closing date: 12 Midnight, Sunday 28th July 2024
Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 12th August 2024 and you will be notified if you have been shortlisted or not.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025 due to business demand.
