TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus on providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of Teesside University courses.
TU Online Ltd is looking for an Online Course Development Manager, to support and manage the eLearning Design team and traffic / manage online course production.
The successful candidate will schedule eLearning design work and course content creation, managing the collation of online course content and media with Schools and TU Online Ltd Strategic Hub Tutors.
The Online Course Development Manager will also help to support Schools and Strategic Hub Tutors in the timing and scheduling of their online course content creation. They will map and manage the eLearning Design Team’s work loading and the prioritisation of work correct to the online course production roadmap (the roadmap they will create, control and manage) aligned to course approval.
The Online Course Development Manager will manage module creation for intakes / cohorts and ensure content quality control correct to the standards defined by TU Online Ltd / Teesside University.
Additionally, they will work with School Administration to schedule and monitor the creation of resubmission links / extensions within the Virtual Learning Environment.
Candidates will be expected to possess experience in managing a design team, trafficking a busy department whilst working upon multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise, liaise and project manage to a high level. Ideally candidates will have experience in, virtual learning environments / learner management systems, the higher education sector and will also have experience as an eLearning course content designer themselves to understand the parameters of the course design process.
Ideal candidates would hold a qualification in design / eLearning design, user experience (UX) design and / or course curriculum design.
The role would suit candidates with management experience, the background and skills as detailed, who enjoy working upon multiple projects in a collaborative and supportive working environment.
