The School of Health and Life Sciences is now seeking to appoint to the post of Senior Lecturer Teaching Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) in Patient Experience, Outcome and Clinical Leadership to contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and knowledge exchange in the Department of Allied Health Professions in the School of Health & Life Sciences.
The standard TSPP academic role at the University includes a combination of teaching, scholarly activity, professional practice, knowledge exchange, business engagement and associated administrative activities. While all functions will combine these areas of work, the relative weight of each will vary between and over time for each role holder.
The postholder must have experience of working in the Health and Social Care or related sector. You will have experience of leading and supporting staff and/or student development and implementation of improvement activity initiatives. You must hold both a first degree and Masters in a relevant discipline / equivalent professional qualification or significant practical work experience in a related discipline.
Applicants must hold or willing to achieve a relevant Teaching Qualification normally within two years of employment i.e PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation alongside a Membership of a relevant professional body / Registered professional in the discipline / equivalent level of professional practice.
