Research Assistant: £31,396 to £32,982 per annum
Research Associate: £33,966 to £44,263 per annum
The Role
Applications are invited for a position of Research Assistant/Associate in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Combustion. This is an exciting opportunity and your contribution will be critical to the delivery of the outcomes for an Engineering Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded research project (EP/Y017951/1) on swirl stabilised hydrogen premixed flames.
The research aims to deliver on the following:
Our research group based in the School of Engineering has world leading expertise in CFD, turbulent flows and turbulent reacting flows. To succeed in this role, you will need to design and deliver on our research outcomes at local and international conferences and interact with industry experts. Therefore, we especially seek a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to network and influence. You will engage with our PhD students and the wider research community within the group.
This is a full time and fixed term position. The role is available from December 2024 and will run until the 30th November 2027 in the first instance.
