The role

The International Recruitment Officer (International Foundation Programme) works closely with the Centre for Academic Language and Development, International Office and the University’s Recruitment and Admissions Partner to develop strategies and activities to reach recruitment goals for the IFP.

What will you be doing?

The post holder will be coordinating a range of engagement and initiatives to support the outcomes and progress of the action plan developed jointly between the International Office and the Centre, liaising with colleagues across the Global Engagement Division, Marketing and Communications and the University Admissions Teams where required.

The post holder is also responsible for identifying and coordinating activity for specific recruitment and/or international purposes such as partner visits, offer holder events and school visits. All aspects of this will be the responsibility of the post holder, identifying the most appropriate staff, managing the budget, analysing data, and making recommendations for future activity.

The post holder is the main contact point between the central International Office and the Centre, ensuring that each team is updated appropriately. The role will also require substantial external liaison, with the University’s Recruitment and Admissions Partner, potential students and their support groups, international schools and education representatives.

The post holder will be part of a Centre-based professional services team including marketing and programme delivery staff, contributing to the successful promotion of the IFP, recruitment of students, and support the identity of the Centre internationally.

  • Are able to spend time overseas promoting the IFP and University across a variety of locations and settings.
