Hours:

Full time or part time hours considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours per week.

Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).

Contract: Indefinite

The School of Media, Arts & Humanities is seeking to appoint a Senior Reception Coordinator to oversee the activities of a busy Reception office and Resource Centre borrowing service, providing excellent customer service and support to users and visitors of this frontline service.

The post will be responsible for:

• leading, supervising and motivating the Reception team
• overseeing and developing the highest possible levels of customer service to a diverse and international clientele
• overseeing, prioritising and delegating a varied workflow of administrative tasks
• overseeing day to day school finance and HR administration, ensuring compliance

The successful candidate will:

• have experience of working in a busy, pressurised, customer-facing environment with a strong commitment to consistently delivering the highest possible standards
• be an enthusiastic and well-organised administrator, who is a good team member, with excellent communications skills and the ability to identify and improve processes
• have an aptitude for detailed work, using initiative to identify problems and seek solutions
