The School of Psychology is looking to recruit one part-time, fixed term, education and scholarship-focused faculty member at Lecturer level, with expertise in clinical psychology and mental health to convene and deliver a Level 6 module.

The post is available as replacement teaching to cover all aspects of teaching and assessment for an existing module on Depression in Adolescents (https://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/modules/undergraduate/2023/95295-depression-in-adolescents).  Previous course material is available for you to use and adapt.  In addition to delivering teaching, the post holder would be available to support students taking the module and be responsible for all aspects of assessment and feedback.

The post would suit someone who has recently completed (or about to complete) a PhD in a related topic and is interested in a career in higher education.  You would become part of the Clinical Psychology subject group and be able to take advantage of networking and professional development opportunities (e.g., mentoring).
