There is an exciting opportunity to be one of a new team of three Faculty Information Managers which the University is recruiting as part of our commitment to excellent information management. The University recognises that information is an incredibly valuable asset within the University and the effective, efficient and secure information is critical to our success.
The Faculty Information Manager role will work closely with key stakeholders to embed excellent information management practices across one or two Faculties. The successful candidates will work closely with subject matter experts in Information Security, Data Protection and Records Management to implement an agreed institutional roadmap. They will take the lead in working directly with Faculty and School level executives to implement the procedural, policy and behavioural changes needed to achieve University objectives for information management.
The new team’s priorities in the first year will be to establish and embed the University’s Data Protection Framework and Information Security Management System.
We are committed to enabling our employees to work in a hybrid model with flexibility over when, where and how to achieve the required outputs, in discussion with your manager.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
