About the role

The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences is looking for a proactive and self-motivated Programmes Administrator to join our Taught Programmes Team in a part time, fixed term post working 18.25 hours a week (0.5 FTE). 

This is to cover maternity leave starting in August 2024 with an expected end date of 31/07/2025, or the early return of the post holder. 

You will play a key role, working closely with other team members, students and academic staff to ensure the smooth and efficient administration and operation of our postgraduate degree apprenticeship programmes within the Faculty. 

Key activities 

  • Day-to-day administrative support for our degree apprenticeship programmes 
  • Student and staff enquiries 
  • Student data management 
  • Processing student progression, assessments and results
  • Liaising with Employer providers

Previous experience 

You will have previous experience of working in an administrative support role (preferably with experience of student administration) or equivalent experience working in a busy office in an administrative role.
