The University is pleased to introduce a new role to enhance the support provided to the Digital, Data & Technology Group and the Planning, Performance & Strategic Change team.
About the role
This role will work closely with both departments to ensure a robust financial framework is in place for in-year financial monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. By providing accurate and timely financial data, they will enable departments to make well-informed decisions that align with the University's strategic objectives.
In addition, this role will also support strategic projects undertaken by the departments. Including developing financial models, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and assessing the financial viability of new initiatives. By delivering clear and actionable financial insights, the role will help project teams understand their finances, optimise resource allocation, and enhance project outcomes.
Sitting within the MIS team in Finance and Procurement, this role will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, mitigating financial risks, and promoting best practices in financial management.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
