The School of Clinical Medicine HR Team are a specialist team providing a full range of HR, recruitment and clinical services to its colleagues, new hires, and visitors selected departments and institutes. Our teams are based in the Clinical School of Medicine Office (SCM) which is part of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We have circa 3,000 colleagues, including 410 clinical and 190 colleagues on CRUK/MRC legacy terms and conditions, and over 1000 visitors. The HR team plays a crucial role in supporting our dynamic and diverse workforce at the School.
You'll be the HR Adviser supporting a HR Business Partner in a large-scale reorganisation across a number of Medical Research Council Units over a 3 year period. You will need to support the change sensitively and offer advice on change management as well as supporting to develop a clear project plan with key milestones.
You will be a key member of the HR Business Partner Team and collaborate closely with colleagues within the wider HR Division. Your contributions may extend beyond the SCM, as you actively participate in university-wide HR policy development and operational initiatives. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and implementation of SCM-specific clinical policies and practices.
