The School of Medicine & Dentistry wishes to appoint a Senior Professionalism, Wellbeing and Safety Practitioner to be based at Westlakes campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their experience of teaching and assessment in the field of clinical skills. The successful candidate must have degree level education or equivalent.
As a Senior PWS Practitioner you will work as part of the wider PWS team to provide pastoral support and mentoring to students of the School of Medicine and Dentistry who have professionalism or wellbeing issues including students undergoing fitness to practice proceedings. The post is based at Westlakes campus and will focus on providing support to students based there, however, there may be some requirement to provide remote support to students based at other campuses.

Applicants must meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This post is based at UCLan Westlakes Campus in Whitehaven and will focus on providing support to students based there, although travel to Furness General Hospital in Barrow and occasional travel to other University campuses will be required.
