Team players in environmental engineering
Your overall focus will be to strengthen DTU Sustain’s competences within the areas of soil & groundwater remediation and risk assessment of contaminated sites. You will work in our section of Environmental Contamination & Chemicals dealing with groundwater, hydrogeology, groundwater-surface water interaction, risk assessment and sustainable mitigation of contamination sources and numerical modeling. You will interact with academia, public authorities, consultants, and industrial partners in Denmark as well as abroad.
We expect that you have a strong Danish and/or international platform within environmental microbiology and chemistry with an engineering (or similar) background in water resources, soil-groundwater systems, contaminant hydrogeology, environmental microbiology and chemistry. You must be responsible for the teaching of courses. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.
As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).
