The role
This is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School following its recent move to a brand-new state of the art clinical facility located nearby Temple Meads station. The post holder will play a key leadership role within the School, specifically contributing to the leadership of the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management, with additional management, leadership, and clinical supervision roles commensurate with the full time equivalence of the appointed candidate.
What will you be doing?
We are seeking outstanding individuals who have strong experience in primary care to help Bristol Dental School deliver our Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management, and to prepare our students for life after graduation. In addition, the role will contribute to clinical undergraduate teaching in primary care dentistry (including Urgent Dental Care) as required. The individual will play a key leadership role within postgraduate and undergraduate primary dental care education, which involves line management, managing clinics and patients, alongside delivering clinical teaching, tutorials and contributing to wider academic management and organisation of the School.

The post is available 0.4FTE (permanent) 0.6FTE (12 months fixed term, maternity cover). Full time or part-time/job share will be considered.
