We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to deliver a variety of initiatives aligned with the department’s strategic priorities. You will play a key role in the department’s governance activities, developing policies, tools, information and sharing good practice to facilitate research and ensure compliance with relevant policies. The post holder will also be a member of NDCN’s People & Culture Oversight Group, agreeing and reviewing the strategic objectives to be delivered by our People & Culture working groups, as well as managing responses to new emerging priorities.
The breadth of topics means you will provide significant input to decision-making affecting the department. You will work closely with the Head of Department and Head of Administration and Finance, as well as a broad range of professional services staff and researchers.
Educated to degree standard (or equivalent), you will have good knowledge of governance requirements and relevant UK/EU legislation and demonstrable experience of research involving human participants or human samples and associated governance processes.

This post is full time flexibility for part-time, minimum 0.8 FTE) and permanent contract. Hybrid working available.
