An exciting opportunity has arisen for an events professional to join the Marketing and Communications team to co-ordinate the college’s high profile events programme.
As Events Co-ordinator you’ll work within the Marketing team, across campaigns and content, the schools team, design, PR and digital. This role will support the wider marketing function in planning and co-ordinating our open day programme including core open events, HE and adult open events and a curriculum showcase event for school pupils in years 8-10.
You’ll also co-ordinate HE graduation which is an annual flagship event for our HE curriculum and students as well as our annual Apprenticeship Awards which is a recent addition to our events calendar and provides the college, as well as its employer partners, the chance to celebrate the achievements of our apprentices. Internal staff events are in development too so you’ll be supporting Organisational Development team on a vast range of exciting activities and initiatives.
You’ll be an excellent planner and confident in liaising with curriculum teams to deliver the best student experience we can to our current and prospective learners.
You’ll have excellent attention to detail and will be able to execute multi-layered plans, liaising with venues, suppliers and event volunteers to ensure that everyone is fully briefed and prepared.
Regular travel between sites is essential, but in the main you will split your time between our Adams and City Hub campuses.
Assessments and interviews will take place w/c 15th July 2024
