We are seeking pro-active and well-organised individuals to fill two part time Attendance Co-ordinator posts, based within the College’s School of Science, IT and Media at Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus.
In this role you would identify and act immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record. You would take a pro-active role, including engaging ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone, and communicating with parents and college staff. You would also maintain student attendance databases, produce reports, discuss students’ progress with teaching staff and arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.
You will need to possess good organisational and administrative skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and be confident in using databases/systems. You should have good written and verbal communication skills, and have a confident telephone manner. Experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage.
You must be able to start work at 8.45am; however the working days and finish times will be subject to agreement.
